The Uncomfortable

I don't want this post to sound like a cliché, but I am currently trying to find comfort and personal growth in some very uncomfortable territory. All of the successes I claim today are a result of a lot of time spent in uncomfortable territory.
I had to spend three years learning how to run (and training) before I was finally able to run a half-marathon. Now I've run six!
After five years of school, four years of professional experience, and two very long exams, I am finally able to call myself a professional engineer.
And now, after fifteen years of writing, I am querying my third work. But I am still in uncomfortable territory, trying to grow into the writer I need to be. I am putting myself out there on socials, doing market research, networking...heck, I'm even writing a blog. Do I want to do these things? Not all the time. But I know it will help me achieve my goal.
