My Story
I started writing when I was young. My first fantasy series, The Guardians of the Forest, is an ode to my love of magic and nature. I self-published the Young Adult series in 2013.
My new passion is to illuminate forgotten heroines in history and untold mythology. I am currently on submission with two books, both Adult Historical Fantasy works.
THE CURSE OF MILA GOJSALIĆ, complete at 91,000 words, is a high-stakes retelling of two prominent Slavic myths—the mysterious death of King Zvonimir and the legend of Mila Gojsalić.
In a Kingdom where curses are punishments for crimes, Mila receives the harshest one - never to remain in one place for more than a night, and never twice. A curse as severe as the crime itself, treason against King Zvonimir. But Mila didn't commit treason, and she's going to prove it.
The second retells the story of another forgotten heroine, Diotima, a student of Socrates in the Golden Age of Athens. The GIFT OF DIOTIMA is complete at 96,000 words.
Prisoner of the great Athenian General Pericles, the prophetess Diotima shares her visions to keep Athens safe. But when the Spartans arrive to treat for peace, the promise of freedom forces her to reconsider her future...and the future of Greece.
