Querying Journey Update

It has been a long, rewarding week for me. After three weeks of silence, broken up only by two form rejections, I began to feel stagnant in my publishing journey. This week, however, I found the fire again and accomplished the following:

• I submitted three pitches to the Savvy Authors Pitch Fest! Developing my pitch was exciting, and I am hopeful someone will want to take a look at my material.

• I discovered a new podcast, The Literary Blend! Hosted by Demi Schwartz, an amazingly talented musician and editor. After rating her podcast, she provided me with a FREE ten-page manuscript edit. It was honestly the highlight to my week. Her feedback was uplifting and educational. My first ten pages are so much better for it.

• I have also been copyediting my manuscript ferociously as I prepare to submit to #RevPit tomorrow! I have to say, after receiving feedback from Demi, I am even more excited to earn a free editing experience.

• Of course, throughout all of this, I can't stop querying the amazing agents I find along the way!
